Tuition fees

Tuition fee payments

Tuition fees are as follows:

  • tuition fee accordant with the annual cost of studies – a fee equal to the annual cost of studies. The annual cost of studies covers the cost of 60 credits (in case of part-time studies – not more than 45 credits), regardless of the number of credits of the subjects studied in the study program in the respective study year;
  • tuition fee for a subject (module) – a tuition fee paid by the student/listener for the chosen study subjects (modules or parts thereof) or by a person enrolled in a non-formal education programme. This fee is equal to the cost of a study credit multiplied by the number of credits of the study subject (modules or parts thereof);
  • fee for a subject (module) of an external student – tuition fee paid by the external student/listener individually studying the subjects (modules) approved by the procedure of the councils of core academic units. This fee constitutes 25 % of the tuition fee payable for a regular subject (module).
  • fee for the repetition of a subject (module) of the study programme – tuition fee for the repetition of a subject (module), repeatedly writing a graduation or annual research  paper  and their repeated preparation and development. This fee is equal to the cost of a study credit multiplied by the number of credits of the subject (module).
  • cost of a study credit – 1 / 60 of the annual cost of studies specified in the Study Agreement (in case of part-time studies – no more than 1 / 45 of the annual cost of studies);
  • cost of tuition per semester – a part of the annual cost of studies calculated based on the number of credits per study semester. This cost is equal to the cost of a study credit multiplied by the number of credits of subjects chosen in the programme during a particular semester;
  • tuition fee – a fee equal to the cost of studies (the annual cost of studies or part thereof) and/or any other study-related payments (for a subject (module), repeatedly provided or additional services).

A student may be granted permission to pay the tuition fee in no more than three instalments. The first instalment cannot be less than 30 % of the payable sum and must be paid no later than the last day of the first month of the current semester.
